- GA Delegates and Alternates:
-
The chemistry department has four open delegate seats in the Graduate Assembly (GA), the official representative body of graduate and professional students at UC Berkeley. Any graduate or professional student from our department can serve as a delegate. Delegates play a vital role in the representation of both individual departments and the full graduate student body, helping take stances on pressing issues, directing various GA Officers and staff to accomplish certain initiatives, and funding student organizations and clubs. If you’re interested in becoming a delegate, please contact the Chemistry Graduate Life Committee at ucbglc@gmail.com and/or check out this webpage that explains the process for becoming a delegate. You have the opportunity to make your voice heard in graduate student government and help improve the graduate student experience at UC Berkeley!
